Our working group Security & NATO is about Security as in our daily lives is key to our well-being and we will focus on how to guarantee the freedom and security of Europe through political and military means because we inherit new challenges since the end of the Cold War. Europe need to continue to promote democratic values and stretch the cooperation and find a common ground with our neighbors. You should join this working group, because many of the current economic and social tensions are being exploited to fuel conflicts and might have a direct impact on our economy and daily life.


What is the aim of this working group in the long run?


Create awareness why our government’s need to invest on Security and increase the budget dedicated to NATO and the relevance of the military power.


About our working group chairperson Hélder Alvares:


Having a broad mobility experience across Europe and some experience on politics and military Intelligence projects, it’s important to highlight the relevance to guarantee our Security and freedom.
